We're excited to share that AICURA will be joining the prestigious International Conference on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases and related neurological disorders (AD/PD™ 2025) from April 1-5, 2025 in Vienna, Austria.
Our Chief Medical Officer, Janis Reinelt, MD, PhD, and Chief Technology Officer, Konstantin Thierbach, PhD, will be attending the conference. They are eager to engage with colleagues in the neuroscience and neurodegeneration research community and look forward to meaningful discussions and potential collaborative opportunities.
The AICURA team will be presenting our latest research, titled:
“Cascaded multimodal Deep Learning in the prediction of conversion from mild cognitive impairment to Alzheimer’s Disease.”
Our findings will be featured as:
Our research highlights the application of a cascaded multimodal DL-based system (TelDem) on data from open-source clinical datasets. By integrating multiple data modalities—including MRI, CSF biomarkers, and APOE genotyping—we observed a marked improvement in predicting the progression from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer’s disease. Our most comprehensive model achieved a balanced accuracy of 71% and an AUC of 0.775, with higher sensitivity for detecting faster conversion when compared to unimodal MRI-based models.
We can't wait to connect with fellow innovators in the field, explore potential partnerships, and discuss how artificial intelligence is transforming healthcare. If you'll be at AD/PD™ 2025 in Vienna, we'd love to meet you and dive into meaningful conversations.
Can't make it to the conference? No problem. Reach out to us today, and we'll be happy to set up an introduction to discuss how AICURA can help advance your clinical research efforts.
